First Place in Open - Bitch, Judge: Mr Dan Ericsson (Sweden)
I very much enjoyed judging this quality entry and I left there were some particularly good bitches. As always, some classes were better than others, but my winners and the bitch line-up in particular pleased me. Heads varied considerably and also movement and fronts which still seem to be problems in the breed.
outstanding Border Terrier who fits the standard so well, very good otter head with excellent ears and eyes, the best front I think I have ever come across in the breed and a joy to behold especially on the move, sound legs & feet and just the right amount of bone for a working terrier, perfect ribcage, good topline, pin-wire double coat, good pelt, sound racy hindquarters, good tail, well-presented and she is a very precise mover being dead true coming and going, ultimately landed the bitch CC and BOB, delighted to see her win Group 2 later in the day
