Thank you to the officers and committee for the invitation to judge at this show. Many thanks to the exhibitors for the lovely quality entry and for accepting my decisions so sportingly, there were some very close decisions and dogs could easily have changed places on another day.
A very strong class with the top two changing places on another day. Both capable of doing a day’s work.
27 month old blue and tan dog. For me up to size but another that I have admired from outside of the ring. Strong, masculine head with good strength of muzzle and correct bite. Straight front with good length of neck and layback of shoulder. Spannable with level topline and well set on tail. Well muscled with good rear angulation. Thick pelt, good textured jacket with correct ticking. Moved well, covering ground with ease. Unlucky to come up against winner today, just preferred 1 for size. RBOB
