My sincere thanks to the committee for the invite to judge at this well run and welcoming show and to my efficient steward who kept things flowing allowing me to focus on the task in hand. Lastly and most importantly the exhibitors, for your entry and sporting manner that my decisions were accepted.
I am always mindful when judging the breed, that it is essentially a working terrier so therefore I am looking for a terrier that is fit for function. Some I struggled to span, which had a bearing on my placings. Pleasing to find the majority had ample pelts, but on the flip side some lacked for me enough undercoat to afford protection, if they were in the working arena.
another quality bitch, unlucky to meet 1 in such top form. Very typical in head and unexaggerated throughout, presented in good coat with decent amount of undercoat. Appealing topline which she maintained throughout.
