First Place in Open, Judge: Miss Helen Axford
Thank you to the committee for inviting me to judge at this well-run show, to my very efficient steward and to the exhibitors for both entering under me and the sporting way they accepted my decisions. I found one suspect mouth and some of the tails would benefit from less hair on the end as this tends to spoil an otherwise balanced picture.
This was a very strong class, I was spoilt for choice.
This dog was good in skull and foreface, he had a nice fill under the eye. He was spannable and in a full but quality jacket. On the move he covered the ground effortlessly, a well made dog with good bend of stifle. BOB & TG4
