Best Of Breed

Show Critique:

I would like to thank the officers and committee for the invitation to judge the Border terrier bitches, with my co judge, Bridget Singh. The hospitality received was much appreciated, and the day was one I really enjoyed. It was lovely to see such a good entry for the show as a whole, and that the borders had attracted the largest entry in the terrier group, my thanks to our two capable stewards, who kept things moving along nicely. Thanks also to the exhibitors who did me the honour and privilege of going over their bitches and accepting my decisions in a sporting manner. All exhibits were of good quality and fit for purpose and I was delighted with my entry. Bridget and I agreed on the bitches for BOB and BPIB.

Placing Critique:

3 years old grizzle bitch. Won on movement for me. Moved with reach and drive. Excellent shoulder placement, narrow throughout, ribbed well back with well muscled thighs. Held topline on the move. Moves freely with ease. Neat cat like feet. Lovely harsh coat, thick pelt. Strong muzzle. In excellent condition.
