The Sporting Terrier Association Of Yorkshire Open Show (22-10-2017)

Second Place in Post Graduate, Judge: Debbie Lorraine (Raleniro)

Show Critique:

I would like to thank the committee for the invitation to judge at this show. I understand this was the first of their shows to be held at this venue and it was a shame that the entry across all breeds was quite low. It is a good venue with spacious rings, and I do hope that terrier exhibitors in the area support this Association’s future shows. Thank you to my Steward, and most importantly, thank you to the exhibitors who entered their dogs under me. It was a small but quality entry with some close decisions. Thank you for the sporting way in which you accepted my decisions. I found no incorrect bites and all dogs were entire.

Placing Critique:

Nice grizzle and tan bitch of 20 months. Lovely for size with typical feminine head and expression. Correct scissor bite. Straight front with lovely reach of neck and good angulation fore and aft. Easily spanned, with good length of rib. Thick pelt, just could not match the jacket of 1 today. Moved well holding her topline on the move.
