Second Place in Open, Judge: Anne Speake
I’d like to extend my thanks to the society for their invitation to judge, to my efficient steward Christine, who ensured things ran smoothly. To the exhibitors, it was a privilege to judge your dogs. Temperaments were excellent; all dogs were entire; and mouths were good. However, coats varied, and some dogs paid the price.
Five year old mature blue and tan bitch. Nice head and keen expression, good ear placement, dark eye, and strong muzzle. Straight front, standing on neat feet, ribs well back, strong loin, well muscled hindquarters, and good tail set. Moved and showed well on a loose lead. Unlucky to meet first this time.
