First Place in Special Beginners - Dog, Judge: Mrs Jenny Miller (Feorlig)

Show Critique:

I must thank the officers and committee for allowing me to judge their Club Open show which was a great honour and which I really enjoyed. The hospitality and the friendly atmosphere made for a nice show and the quality of the dogs was exceptional. I must thank the Club for the lovely gift and Jan Hollingsbee for the flowers which are still alive and looking good. I must also thank my steward Julie Green who gave up her entry to steward for me.

Placing Critique:

This boy has improved so much since I first saw him. He has matured into a nice type, very smart head of correct shape, dark alert eyes well shaped, nicely set ear fraction large but well used. Slight stop, short strong muzzle furnished. Head carried well on strong muscular neck of moderate length, well laid-back shoulders with correct span behind, firm level back well set on and used tail. Angulated front and rear, good bone to legs with strength, padded feet. A muscular body with thick skin, substance with depth to chest and brisket, ribs well back into short strong loin. Body covered in blue and tan harsh textured jacket nice undercoat, well presented. Very sound mover best in class just needed to settle.
