Show Critique:

I must thank the officers and committee for allowing me to judge their Club Open show which was a great honour and which I really enjoyed. The hospitality and the friendly atmosphere made for a nice show and the quality of the dogs was exceptional. I must thank the Club for the lovely gift and Jan Hollingsbee for the flowers which are still alive and looking good. I must also thank my steward Julie Green who gave up her entry to steward for me.

Placing Critique:

Very smart workman like dog with a lovely outline looking good for his 9.5 years. Very much a breed type dog of correct size and balance. Otter shape to his well developed head, neat well set ears used well with good expression to his still dark alert eyes, short strong muzzle well furnished, teeth in clean good condition. Strong neck, well laid shoulders, good span, backline firm with thick skin, well set and used tail. Good body depth and substance with ribs well back to short strong loin very smartly presented in a conditioned harsh textured red coat. Deep chest straight forelegs and compact feet well padded, hindquarters well developed and muscled, was pulling out a little which made him little close at foot, once settled showed very sound free action.
