The East Anglia Border Terrier Club Open Show (17-11-2019)

Second Place in Limit - Bitch, Judge: Mrs Jenny Miller (Feorlig)

Show Critique:

I must thank the officers and committee for allowing me to judge their Club Open show which was a great honour and which I really enjoyed. The hospitality and the friendly atmosphere made for a nice show and the quality of the dogs was exceptional. I must thank the Club for the lovely gift and Jan Hollingsbee for the flowers which are still alive and looking good. I must also thank my steward Julie Green who gave up her entry to steward for me.

Placing Critique:

Really liked this nice 5 year old bitch of correct size and length with strength and substance to her body. Slightly stronger made being that more mature than my winner. Very attractive otter shaped head well furnished, high set hung ears well used, sweet expression from kind dark eyes, slight stop, short strong muzzle good dentition. Correct head carriage on strong moderate neck into well laid-back shoulders, a firm level top line to well held tail little reluctant to be used on the move. Having a good span and thick skin. Correctly angulated front and rear, well ribbed body with a lovely presented dense coat of good harsh texture with undercoat. Well boned straight forelegs with round padded feet, strong muscular quarters with short hocks. Very sound active mover with forward reach and strong drive.
