The Scottish Border Terrier Club Limited Show (26-01-2020)

Second Place in Junior - Dog, Judge: Mrs J Carr (Wreighaugh)

Show Critique:

I’d like to thank the Committee for their invitation to judge this show. As always it was very well organised and there was a very hospitable welcome. Thanks to my steward who kept things moving along. Thank you also to the exhibitors for the excellent entry and, despite a few absentees, I had some lovely Borders to go over. Coats were very varied; mouths were good and there were no kinked tails. Thank you to all the exhibitors and spectators who came and supported the show and created such a good atmosphere.

Placing Critique:

12-month-old red grizzle. Just 2 days out of puppy he has a very strong head. He was easily spannable and had a good layback of rib. Good loose pelt and lovely double coat. Of a larger build than 1 and on the day I just preferred the balance of 1.
