First Place in Open - Bitch, Judge: Gill Thomas (Sunnystone)
My thanks to the WMTS tireless committee for over riding the appalling weather and making every effort to run the show as normal. Unfortunately due to the storm there were understandably many absentees of both exhibitors & judges alike. The Border Terrier exhibitors took my standing in all in good part and I thank them for being such good sports. My thanks go of course to my indefatigable stewards Spencer Cox & Clare Robinson Cox who sailed through the process with ease and good humour as usual.
Nine and a half year old slim and tidy grizzle that moved like a three year old, clean moving workmanlike bitch, excellent bite with big teeth (very impressed) correct head, nice gentle stop good neck straight front and neat feet. Well laid shoulders easily spanned with correct tail set on, good rear angulation, harsh topcoat with dense undercoat and plenty of loose skin. (BB & RBOB)
