I would like to thank the exhibitors for a lovely entry. Some quality exhibits to go over in both dogs and bitches and I was pleased with my winners. Temperament was excellent throughout. Such a shame we couldn’t be outdoors.

1st: Xapex Santiago at Otterwood (Mr M J & Mrs J M Hollingsbee) Confident, outgoing blue and tan pup. Good size, masculine head, in good coat with thick pelt. Well set on carrotty tail. Movement needs to settle but just a baby.

2nd: Orange Box Firecracker (Mr M & Mrs T Anscombe) Showy pup. Not quite the head of 1. In good coat. Moved well front and rear.

2nd: Borderella Day Tripper (Mrs P South) Eyecatching pup. Masculine head, short, strong muzzle. Pleasing in shoulder. Close decision with 1 but lost out on front movement.

3rd: Kighill Mister Clooney (Mr B & Mrs K A Newsome)

1st: Dandyhow Beeline (Mrs K M Irving) Liked this youngster a lot. Handy size. Pleasing head and expression. Narrow all through. Easily spanned. Harsh coat, thick pelt. Straight front. Moved well.

2nd: Digmoor Captain Rook by Tyrian (Mrs K Dean) Another eyecatching dog. Showed well. Rangier than 1, not quite so strong in head. Excels in hindquarters and strode out very well.

2nd: Biddestone Picnic (Mrs A Hibberd) Every inch a baby but loved her. Pleasing head, neat ears which she used well. Narrow all through. Moved soundly.

2nd: Comberdown Ciara (Mr I & Mrs A Higham) Another lovely bitch . Strong head, short muzzle, big teeth. Harsh coat, thick pelt. In really good condition. Moved soundly, driving well from behind. Just preferred size of 1.
